As you shop for auto insurance you may notice that some companies offer “package” policies at a set premium price. There is seldom any flexibility in what coverages can be added to or subtracted from the package. As a result you may get too little protection (and pay more out of pocket when you file a claim) or you may get too much protection (and pay extra for coverages you will never use).
